Sometimes the skin will need more hydration, other times it will need more anti-bacterial and/or anti-inflammatory action. Reasons for in-office treatments include:

• Skin exfoliation or hydration to help enhance penetration and activity of home care products.
• Professional extraction of existing acne impactions.
• To help kill acne bacteria on the skin surface and inside the pore.

Combining home care cosmeceutical products customized for your type of acne with an in-office Acne Plan treatment every two weeks helps clear your skin of pimples and blemishes. Within three to four months of consistent home care and office visits, many clients are mostly to completely clear. After your acne is under control, your home care regimen is maintained to keep your acne managed. Many current clients continue to visit the clinic for a tune-up acne treatment every few weeks or months to keep their skin as healthy as possible.
