SPF: Unveiling the Meaning of the Mystery Number

— Have you ever diligently covered your body with a generous amount of sunscreen, then spent all day outdoors… only to find later that evening that you’ve gotten sunburned again? Then you think to yourself: Well, what the heck? I know I applied my sunscreen. Why the heck didn’t it work?

— Or maybe you’ve heard this from your favorite doctor or dermatologist: “It doesn’t really matter what the number is … just make sure you WEAR it.” What the heck does THAT mean, exactly?

Image result for sunburn meme

You think you know all there is to know about SPF … but do you really?

Let’s take a quick minute to unveil one of the greatest mysteries surrounding SPF…

SPF is the abbreviation for Sun Protection Factor.

In the US, SPF protects your skin from burning in the sun, or from the sun’s UVB rays. The SPF rating of a sunscreen indicates how long your skin is protected before you sunburn. This is important to remember, because it is specific to your individual skin type.

In other words, if you are fair-skinned, and you normally burn after 10 minutes of unprotected sun exposure, SPF 2 will give you two times that protection (2 x 10 minutes = 20 minutes) before your skin burns. With SPF 30, theoretically, you may stay in the sun 30 times longer than it would normally take you to sunburn.

So…. does this mean you’re OK for 300 minutes?

Actually, NO — it does NOT. (And this is the reason why many experts say “the ‘number’ doesn’t really matter…”)

No matter the “number,” your sunscreen is only good for about 2 hours of protection, especially if you are spending extended time outdoors, or have been sweating or swimming. What happens is that the sun’s rays mixed with your skin’s acid mantle (the protective substance on the outside of your skin that fights off bacteria and other bad stuff) will break down and diminish your initial layer of sunscreen over time. So you must reapply when spending time outside in the sun, or after swimming or sweating, at least every two hours.

I realize this isn’t always practical, but there are ways to help with reapplication. For example: start your day with a good layer (1 oz for full body coverage) of lotion sunscreen (if you’re indoors, choose SPF 30, if you are spending the day–or several hours– outside, choose SPF 50). If you need to reapply and lotion won’t work … try a spray or spritz-on sunscreen (but only use these as a second step, not for an initial layer), or try a powdered sunscreen. If you’re outdoors and wearing makeup, start with your layer of sunscreen lotion before you add your makeup (with sunscreen) so protection lasts a little longer.

6 Mistakes you’re making with Sunscreen

It has been said that 90 percent of sun damage in your skin has happened by age 18. But we’ve discovered this philosophy is actually an old school of thought.

Today, skin experts now believe that only about 25 percent of the damage has occurred by age 18.

This means: No matter your age, you still have plenty of time to protect yourself and prevent further sun damage.

Wearing sunscreen every single day, rain or shine, is still the Number One Way to protect your skin from sun damage – which will not only help prevent skin cancer, but also visible skin aging. I like to tell my clients that sunscreen is the easiest and least expensive anti-aging potion on the market.

Here’s a list of common mistakes made when using sunscreen, and how to make sure you’re doing it right.

  1. You’re not applying enough. Most Americans apply only 25 percent of the recommended amount of sunscreen. For full body application, you need one full ounce (the size of a shot glass) of product – no joke. For face, neck, and ear coverage, you need about ½ a teaspoon. It sounds like a lot, but please don’t skimp, don’t try to make that 4-oz. tube last all summer – it’s not enough. If you’re relying on makeup with sunscreen to get you through the day, it’s still not enough coverage – apply your layer of sunscreen first, then follow with makeup with sunscreen for the best (nearly all-day) protection.
  2. You’re applying at the wrong time. Don’t wait until you get to your destination to apply your sunscreen, put it on in the morning, to clean dry skin, at least 20 to 30 minutes before going outside. This allows the sunscreen to bind with your skin’s outer layers to provide the best protection. And then, reapply after swimming or sweating, or if you’ve been in the sun for more than a few hours. When we’re out sailing all day, I apply full coverage before getting dressed, and then add one more layer when we get to the boat, before we get out on the water.
  3. You’re not choosing the right kind of broad spectrum ingredients for your skin conditions. If you are prone to melasma (hormonal brown spots, or hyperpigmentation), you need to wear sunscreen with ingredients that reflect both the heat and the UV rays. Look for Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide under active ingredients. Avobenzone (Parsol 1789) absorbs and neutralizes UV rays, but doesn’t reflect the heat (which can trigger post-inflammatory pigmentation). Avobenzone is not always the best choice for more sensitive skin types, especially those with sensitive eyes – but it’s fine for body application.
  4. You believe that a higher SPF gives you better protection. Despite the higher SPF numbers, skin cancer rates are increasing. Why? Because no matter what “number” you put on, you still need to reapply. Sun exposure mixed with your skin’s acid mantle will break down sunscreen protection over a few hours. So you need to reapply, especially when you’re spending extra time in the sun. Or better yet, wear UPF-rated clothing to provide another layer of protection.
  5. You’re afraid to wear sunscreen because: a. it makes you “break out,” or b. it’s too greasy! There are plenty of non-greasy, quick-absorbing, non-pore-clogging options out there… I carry several different choices from Epionce, Prasanna, EltaMD and Face Reality.
  6. You wear sunscreen only during the summer or for outside activities. Nope – UV exposure can happen through windows and clouds, and reflect off concrete, asphalt, water and snow. Just make it part of your everyday routine. Regardless of season or whether you’re spending time inside or outside. My go-to recommendation is SPF 30 when you’re inside most of the day, SPF 50 when you’re spending lots of time outdoors. Oh, and don’t forget to reapply.

Skin Cancer Myths vs. Facts

To help raise awareness about Melanoma Awareness month, it’s important to address a few myths vs. facts regarding skin cancer.

12019424 - woman applying suncream at the beach

Copyright: <a href=’https://www.123rf.com/profile_auremar’>auremar / 123RF Stock Photo</a>

Myth: Skin cancer only happens to people over age 40.

Fact: The incidence of melanoma in children, teens and young adults is growing every year. It is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young Americans aged 25 to 29. It is the number one cause of cancer death among 15 to 20 year olds.

Myth: Most people believe that tan skin “looks healthier” than pale skin.

Fact: 83% of teens believe they look better with a tan, and 43% admitted to lying out in the sun. One-third “always” use sunscreen; nearly the same number “never” use sunscreen. There is NO SAFE TAN. Injury to your skin barrier increases production of pigment cells to help increase protection. Tanned skin is actually injured skin.

Myth: Tanning beds are safer than the sun.

Fact: 95% of tanning customers receive more than the recommended dose of UV radiation. Tanning beds can expose an individual to 4 times the amount of UVA and 2 times the amount of UVB as compared to a similar period of actual sun exposure.

Myth: You only need sunscreen on sunny summer days.

Fact: UVA rays penetrate through clouds and windows, and reflect off concrete, asphalt, snow and grass –ALL YEAR round!

Myth: “I don’t need to wear sunscreen if I am naturally tan.”

Fact: ALL COLORS OF SKIN should be using sunscreen. When melanoma is discovered on darker skin, it is more advanced than on lighter skin. Melanoma occurs 25 times more often in lighter races.

Myth: Wearing sunscreen causes vitamin D deficiency.

Fact: The average American only applies about 25% of the recommended amount of sunscreen. The human body needs only 20 minutes of noontime exposure a day to make 1000 IUs of vitamin D. Our bodies synthesize vitamin D from food and other supplements the same as vitamin D from the sun. If you are worried about “getting enough” vitamin D, it is super simple to increase your daily oral vitamin D supplements.

Spring Newsletter

Freshly Scrubbed Masthead

Happy Spring my lovely friends!

We made it through a very memorable, crazy winter and spring is finally in bloom … now if only the weather would warm up, please?

Healthy Line TAO-Mat

Speaking of warming up… one of my priorities as your skin care therapist is to make sure my facial bed is a comfy safe space in which you can relax completely and rejuvenate your spirit during your treatment time with me. I’m adding a little special something to this cozy nest I’ve created for my clients– a TAO Mat from HealthyLine.com.

This is an infra-red heated mat containing a mix of tourmaline, amethyst & obsidian gemstones that offers several wonderful benefits:

  • Each HealthyLine mat provides negative ions, far infrared rays, and heated gemstones. The gemstones naturally emit negative ions and far infrared, and when heated the stones become activated and provide benefits at a greater level. This is made possible with many functional layers. Essentially, a wire that heats up goes through the mat. That wire is lined with silicon coating that filters bad electromagnetic fields (EMFs) from the mat. Additional layers help with heat distribution so the mat heats up evenly all throughout.
  • Black obsidian is known as a protective stone that removes negative energy from the area.
  • Amethyst is a purple stone that has been used in medicine since ancient Greece. It is known as a sedative-like stone with properties that make it ideal for meditation and calming practices. It has been used for centuries as a restorative gem and is also known to be a superconductor of energy. This means that amethyst helps to focus infrared and photon energies into the body.
  • Tourmaline helps to detoxify tissue and body systems. It also emits far infrared and negative ionic energies. These properties help tourmaline to break down toxins within the body that the organs can then process out.
  • PEMF or pulsed electromagnetic field therapy is a process of applying magnetic fields to the body. It is used to help with joint repair, blood circulation, and brain function.
  • The most common conditions helped by the Inframat include:
    • Stress
    • Circulatory problems
    • Muscle, bone, and joint pain
    • Headaches, including migraine
    • Depression and Anxiety
    • Insomnia
    • Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue
    • Hypertension
    • Breathing ailments such as COPD
    • Arthritis

I can’t wait to try out this mat personally, and am so excited to offer this as an added benefit to my dear facial clients! If you like the way it feels, please check out HealthyLine.com for more information — this company offers multiple different mat configurations and styles that would best benefit you personally — and they are not outrageously expensive (like BioMat). Enter the code “discount10” at checkout and receive 10% discount plus free shipping on your order.

Prepare Your Skin for the Big Day: Brides & Mothers

You are taking the plunge, saying yes to the dress– and planning your Big Day. There are many planning calendars out there to help keep all the details organized from guest lists to wedding décor to bridesmaid’s dresses… so, here is a handy little guide for preparing your skin to look its absolute radiant best on your wedding day.

One Year Prior: Brides

This is the ideal time to consult with your skin therapist/licensed esthetician to discuss options within your budget for transforming your skin before you take your walk down the aisle, especially if you have any deep scarring, unwanted pigmentation, or chronic acne breakouts. If we’re treating scarring, collagen regeneration takes at least 6 months –up to a year — to be visibly apparent in your skin, so start your microneedling series now. It’s also a great time to ask your esthetician about professional product recommendations to follow at home, so your skin responds optimally to in-office treatments. Even if home skin care is all you can afford to do, your skin will absolutely benefit from consistent, twice a day care.

If you are planning on wearing as little clothes as possible (or perhaps clothing-optional?) for your honeymoon, you don’t want to be bothered with shaving or waxing unwanted hair. One year prior to your wedding date is the perfect time to start a laser hair removal series on legs, underarms and bikini areas. You’ll need at least 6 treatments (or maybe more), at 4 to 6 week intervals, to be (mostly or completely) hair-free by your wedding day.

Six Months Prior: Brides

If you are moderately to severely acne-prone and hope to have clear, smooth, glowing skin on your wedding day, don’t delay past this point to start on a skin-clearing treatment series. There are several affordable and effective non-prescription options from which to choose.

At this point before your Big Day arrives, you may be able to squeak in a few laser hair removal sessions, if you haven’t started already, to help dramatically reduce shaving or waxing time during your honeymoon.

7208144 - groom kissing his mother

Four Months Prior: Brides & Mothers of the Bride/Groom

If your skin care goals are not too complicated, your esthetician can set you up with a mini-series of monthly light chemical peels or microdermabrasion treatments to help keep your skin smooth and glowing by your wedding day. For brides over age 35 and mothers of the bride or groom, adding Microcurrent facials will help further smooth fine lines and add a lovely lifting effect. For optimal cumulative results, microcurrent facials should be performed at least once a week or once every two weeks until the Big Day. LED Facials are also a wonderfully simple treatment series to consider for improving skin texture, clearing acne breakouts, calming underlying inflammation, and stimulating collagen regeneration.

Bonus benefit: there is no recovery time needed at all after a microcurrent or LED treatment.

Deeper expression lines or deeper pitted scarring that haven’t been corrected by regular facial treatments may mean that this is the time to consider Botox or filler injections. Experimenting four months prior to your wedding date helps you figure out which injectable is right for your needs; and, in case of any unforeseen adverse reaction, gives you plenty of recovery time if needed.

Two Months to Six Weeks Prior: Brides & Mothers

*Two months to one month prior to wedding day is about the time that most mothers of the bride or groom start to panic about the wedding day photos. If you are one of these, please allow yourself at least two months before the Big Day arrives to work on your skin.

With two months to go, there’s still time for a twice-weekly LED facial series. Try to get at least 6 to 8 LED facials in over 4-6 weeks (preferably twice a week). Results vary per individual, but most are truly amazed at the difference in skin texture and pore size after completing a full series of LED facials.

Also, within a two-month time frame, you can (ideally) fit in two Perfect Peels, spaced 4 weeks apart, for dramatic, immediate improvement in skin discoloration, texture and acne scarring. Allow yourself time to peel, at least 7 full days, plus at least one more week of dry, flaky skin after you have finished peeling.

One Month Prior: Brides & Mothers

9fd944b3-b89b-477c-a88c-52e38b1b8c3a-rs_768If you started with injectables 3 months ago, now is the time to assess if a touch-up is needed. If you didn’t have a chance to figure out which injectable is right for you before now – don’t put off trying Botox or filler for the first time after this point. There is a slight risk of adverse reaction to an injectable procedure, and one month prior still allows time to recover if anything goes wrong. Don’t risk a drooping eyelid or bruising any sooner before Wedding Day.

Those who haven’t started a facial series before now can squeeze in one Perfect Peel for instant brightening, smoothing, and acne clearing effects — but do plan at least one week of peeling and up to another week of feeling very dry. Some will peel in light flakes, others peel like an onion. Schedule a follow-up exfoliating  facial (gentle enzyme, microdermabrasion or dermaplaning) one or two weeks after your peel to get the best skin-smoothing benefit.

Mothers of the Bride/Groom: You have time at this point for four weekly (or even eight if going twice a week) Microcurrent Facials + LED therapy for visibly firmer, lifted skin. Remember: when performed in a series, microcurrent results are cumulative, similar to how an exercise regimen benefits our bodies.

Two Weeks Prior: Brides (& Mothers)

If you’ve been following the recommendations above, your skin is in prime condition for Your Big Day. Even if you’ve only stuck to a simple, professional product regimen at home, your skin will be much improved from when you first started. Any random little stress breakouts can be alleviated quickly with a 15-minute Thermoclear session to help them dry up and disappear quickly.

For mothers of the bride and groom, if you haven’t partaken in any of the above suggestions, you can still schedule one or two (up to four) lovely Ultimate Lift or Red Carpet Lift Microcurrent treatments + LED therapy for beautiful firming and lifting effects, without any recovery time needed. You’ll be glowing at the pre-wedding festivities.

Brides: Schedule time with your makeup artist to create your unforgettable wedding day look. Your makeup artist will help you with important tips on keeping your look fresh through the entire day’s festivities.

One Week Prior: Brides & Mothers

Get waxed. Remove all your unwanted hair a week before your Big Day. You’ll stay hairless and smooth for at least 2 to 3 weeks afterward, maybe even longer. Even if you’ve finished a series of laser hair removal treatments, wax any little leftovers so you don’t have to obsess over those darn little hairs (on your kneecaps) on your honeymoon.

You’ve got one week to go before you become a Mrs. (or the mother of a newly-wed). Schedule a relaxing dermaplaning or microdermabrasion facial with gentle enzyme mask + LED therapy to help remove any surface skin flakes plus fine vellus (peach-fuzz) hair, and give you soft, radiant skin under your wedding day makeup. Note: If you have never had a facial before — DO NOT schedule your very first facial a week before your wedding. Even if you “NEVER” break out or have any sensitivities… this is NOT THE TIME to experiment. Trust me on this.

Last minute wedding stress giving you breakouts? Ask about a quick Thermoclear radio-frequency treatment to zap those little zits and help them dry up by your wedding day.

You look amazing! Don’t forget to eat — and drink plenty of water — and enjoy every last minute of your unforgettable day. Congratulations!

10 Handy Tips with Epionce Barrier Creams

It’s that time of year when our skin tends to feel much drier and more sensitive than other times of the year. In the colder winter climates, we tend to spend more time indoors in a dry, heated environment. While the warmth feels cozy and comfortable, it can take a toll on our skin.

If you do suffer with dry, itchy, uncomfortable skin during the cold winter months, having Epionce Medical Barrier Cream or Extreme Barrier Cream readily available will help soothe your skin while providing an extra emollient boost of hydration.

First of all, what’s the difference? Medical Barrier Cream and Extreme Barrier Cream were each designed with highly compromised, sensitive skin in mind. Both formulas help to restore healthy barrier function to skin that is extra dry, flaky and sensitized. Medical Barrier Cream has no scent, leaves no greasy residue, and is the better choice for the most sensitive skin types. Extreme Barrier Cream leaves a longer-lasting moisturized “slip” to the skin and has a pleasant, natural botanical scent. When Renewal Enriched Body Lotion doesn’t seem to go far enough, the next step up is Extreme Barrier Cream, for longer lasting, heavier moisture.

Here are 10 handy tips to incorporate Epionce Barrier Creams into your regimen:

  1. Encourage healthy post-treatment skin healing. Medical Barrier Cream is a staple in my treatment room after chemical peels and microneedling to encourage healthy repair, without stinging upon application. It’s included in the Essential Recovery post-care Kit just for this reason.
  2. Calm and soothe symptoms of eczema and psoriasis with Medical Barrier Cream. Essential for those with severely compromised skin. Helps rebuild a healthy itch-free skin barrier. Once symptoms have calmed, try applying Extreme Barrier Cream daily to help maintain remission of visible flares.
  3. A diaper bag must-have. Protect and soothe baby skin from diaper or drool rashes, and keep baby’s skin soft and extra hydrated with Medical Barrier Cream.
  4. Soothe and smooth chapped hands. Frequent hand washing taking a toll? Apply a layer of Medical or Extreme Barrier Cream and your hands will thank you. You’ll find the moisture lasts through multiple hand washings.
  5. Extreme Barrier Cream is ideal for post-laser hair removal, and after shaving or waxing.
  6. For men: Use Extreme Barrier Cream in place of regular shaving gel or cream. Apply to your dry face, then shave. Cleanse with Lytic Gel Cleanser and follow with your favorite Epionce Renewal or sunscreen.
  7. Apply a thick layer of either Barrier Cream formula to cracked, dry hands/feet and cover with gloves/socks overnight to encourage skin healing.
  8. Indulge your hard-working partner or favorite friend with a relaxing massage using rich Extreme Barrier Cream. It’s safe for all over the body, and smells nice too.
  9. Help protect against and prevent windburn by applying a thin layer of Medical Barrier Cream under your sunscreen in place of your normal moisturizer. Especially helpful before active outdoor winter sports. (Which is how this article idea came to mind: I applied my Medical Barrier Cream under my sunscreen, preparing for a snowshoe adventure yesterday with my hubby – the air is chilly, but the sun is shining brightly. Windburn + sunburn = not fun!)
  10. Soothe sunburned skin with Medical Barrier Cream. Apply as often as needed for 24 to 48 hours after sun exposure.

You’ll find both excellent Epionce products available at Face Perfection, or purchase online using this link: SHOP EPIONCE

Extreme Barrier Cream is available in a 6-oz. tube for $48. Medical Barrier Cream is available in an 8-oz. size for $46 or a 2.5 oz. purse size for $24.

Clearer, Healthier Skin for the New Year

Speaking of New Year’s resolutions, isn’t it time you stop suffering with acne break outs, once and for all?

Acne is a frustrating skin disease that can affect individuals of all ages, not just teenagers.

Many licensed estheticians treat minor acne break outs, but as a rule, most estheticians are trained to refer more severe cases of acne to a dermatologist. I became Idaho’s first Certified Acne Specialist because there is a highly effective, proven, and best of all—affordable— alternative to expensive physician visits and prescriptions (that offer little to no relief). As a Certified Acne Specialist, I am confidently able to help address all types of acne break outs – from minor, non-inflamed to severely cystic lesions.

The first step you must take is to schedule a consultation appointment with me. The consultation is a mandatory part of the process to help start you on your way to clearer skin. Together, we cover several important points:

A Review of your Medical History, Previous Treatments & Skin Care Products

I need to know everything, including: how old you were when you first started breaking out, your eating habits, any allergies, what prescriptions (or home care remedies) you’ve tried, what are you using now. You’ll also find out why nothing has worked – until this system.

Review the Face Reality System, while Setting Realistic Goals & Expectations

We’ll talk about your commitment to the twice-daily home regimen required to get the clear skin you want. Clear in 2 weeks….? That’s not gonna happen … but you’ll learn, realistically, how long it will take for you to stop avoiding your reflection in the mirror, or venture out in public without makeup.

Facial Treatment (Extractions Optional)

I’ll get up close and personal with your pores after thoroughly cleansing your skin to correctly analyze your skin type and acne type. We’ll take baseline photographs that will help us track your progress with home care and clinical visits. I’ll test how sensitive (or not sensitive) your skin is to determine the strength of your home care regimen. You’ll experience a mild-to-medium level enzyme treatment to help remove dead skin cells from your skin surface and soften pore debris for easier extractions. And, yes, I may extract a few spots to test your skin hydration levels.

Home Care Product Usage & Lifestyle Tips

You’ll learn the correct way to apply and use your home care system, plus I’ll give you several handy tips on adapting healthier lifestyle habits to successfully help clear your skin. You’ll never buy cosmetics again without first checking your list of Pore Clogging Ingredients. Don’t worry! You’ll get a nice folder to keep all your paperwork organized.

Set Your Future Appointment Schedule & Any Other Questions

It’s best to see you in the clinic every 2 to 3 weeks as you first get started in the program. Then as your skin clears, we stretch that out to once a month or every two months for maintenance. Your regimen must be adjusted every few weeks during the clearing process so that your stubborn acne bacteria do not adapt to the actives.

Face it — you are tired of home acne ‘remedies’ that don’t ‘fix’ anything or expensive, ineffective prescriptions that aren’t working.

So … now what?

Contact me to schedule your consultation to hear about the proven Face Reality system, and to learn why you need to trust a Certified Acne Specialist. While my services are not covered under insurance policies, I do offer several affordable payment options from which to choose to help you see clearer, healthier skin within the next 12 to 16 weeks.

It’s a New Year, and you are ready for a New (Acne-Free) You.

Healthy Holidays

Now that winter has arrived, ‘tis the cold and flu season…. And, while I truly adore and appreciate each and every one of you, please stay at home if you are experiencing the symptoms of a cold or the flu… or, if someone close to you (husband, parent, child, or other close family member) is actively experiencing symptoms in your presence.

Yes, that may seem a little odd to see that written out there, and I do have a cancellation policy in place for less than 24-hours’ notice… I truly love what I do, and this is how I make my living, so I’m not a big fan of last minute cancellations.

But if you are honestly sick or have been exposed, I would rather reschedule you. And, chances are, I will not charge you a cancellation fee, out of gratitude for your courtesy.

So, please do contact me, and let me know the scoop. Don’t share when it comes to illness.

Here’s why…

When I work on you, I’m not only exposed, but I could pass it along to every other client that follows you that day. Then I take it home and expose those around me.

If I catch a cold or flu, my workday (or days) must be cancelled, meaning I will disappoint a lot of other people who have scheduled facial appointments. Sometimes up to a week … over the holidays.

If you ever wonder about whether you’re contagious, and would like a bit of information, here is a post to help you figure it out: Healthline

I genuinely care for all of you, and not sharing a cold or flu is a very kind thing to do. J

PS ~ Rest up, take good care of yourself, and get better soon.

What is ThermoClear?

Ok– I will admit I was intrigued with another remarkable device at the Long Beach esthetics conference I attended in September. I have made the decision to add it to my practice, because I believe it will benefit so many of the lovely clients who visit the medspa.

ThermoClear is designed by one of the top manufacturers of medical spa equipment in the United States, and offers the most advanced, state-of-the-art radio frequency technology available today. It uses both high and low radio frequency (RF) to treat surface skin imperfections such as small spider capillaries, cherry angiomas, milia, blackheads, acne, skin tags, sebaceous hyperplasia, sun and age spots. ThermoClear is safe for all skin colors and skin types, with minimal discomfort or downtime.

What I love about ThermoClear is that it only treats the epidermal layers (outermost surface) of the skin, leaving the layers underneath unaffected. Pulsed light machines such as IPL or laser penetrate deeper into the dermis, which can cause temporary or even permanent damage. Additionally, machines that use a “sparking” effect to treat the epidermis have a higher risk of causing permanent hyper- or hypo-pigmentation.

Click here for Before & After Results using ThermoClear. Your results may vary.

As soon as my training is complete in the next few weeks, I will be offering this treatment to all clients at Face Perfection and Beauty Anew Medspa. Book your ThermoClear treatment by time (20 or 30 minutes) or add-on to a facial service of your choice at http://www.vagaro.com/FacePerfectionLLC.
